What is the small claims limit for personal injury?

When the cause and extent of the injuries are obvious, the small claims limit is used. Small personal injury claims are worth £10,000 in England and Wales, and £5,000 in Scotland. Accidents that occur outside of these two countries, such as on overseas flights or cruises, may have different limits.
